ABOUT ME:

Thought it was time for a change, so I did a new layout for this website. It started as a "Hey, let's put up some photos" but it's stayed up so I thought I'd do a real design for it. It's still html friendly and doesn't do anything to slow down the loading or totally screw up if you change browsers.

I have been doing Faire for, oh, a good long time; the last several years with The Guild of Saint Cuthbert. I was a photojournalist and writer for many years, and have also world-hopped as an air courier. I have won awards for advertising, been a sales rep for several photo related companies, and done some technical writing.

I am currently trying to get past a car accident that almost killed me a few years ago, a task which takes up a lot of my time.

I recently started working at an Apple Store as a Macintosh Specialist. I'm still on the short end of having te strength to do it, but so far I'm sticking it out. Time will tell. Apparently the car got me worse than I thought.

Faire is life. Everything else is just waiting. Thanks, everybody. I love all of you!

Marc

About the photos:

These photos are an afterthought. A camera is an obvious anachronism so I keep mine out of sight most of the time, and try to stay in character. I use an Olympus D-40 digital camera because it's small, has no bad habits and allows me to make a good 11x14 print. Photoshop is my program of choice for editing the photos. I also use Graphic Converter, and am convinced it is the best buy on the market if you're lucky enough to use Macintosh computers.
