Dave Gotcher, better known to most of us as MykieDave and Mychael Wordsmyth, passed away in Texas Sunday night, June 12, 2005. This is the information as I got it, and it will be corrected and added to as I get more.

Dave's storytelling workshops were always a high point in the Faire Workshop mayhem and madness. His insights into and observations of Faire politics and personalities did more than anything else to get me back in the mindset of being a performer.

And he was one hell of a nice guy.

I haven't located any photos of MykieDave in costume but I know I have some. When they show up I'll post some here.
